OUR STORY

Ebenezer Farms began with a dream, a handful of backyard chickens, and a desire to build something our family could enjoy together in Clovis, California, in 2011. What started as a simple way to raise our own animals and teach our children responsibility quickly grew into a passion for farming and a way of life. As our love for agriculture grew, we began breeding Nigerian Dwarf goats in 2015, added Dexter cattle in 2018, and welcomed Babydoll Southdown sheep in 2019. Each new addition reflected our growing passion for raising healthy, well-socialized animals while building a farm centered on faith, family, and quality.

Before moving to Idaho, our farm was known as Little Dipper Farms. Even then, the name Ebenezer Farms had been on our hearts for years, but we never felt it was the right time to use it. In 2020, we felt impressed that the Lord was leading our family to leave California and move to Idaho. With faith, we packed up our animals, equipment, and everything we had built and made the journey, trusting that He would provide the right place for us. Although we didn’t know exactly where we would end up, we believed He was guiding our path.

A few months after arriving in Idaho, the Lord blessed us with this incredible property. Looking back, we recognize it as one of His many tender mercies. It was then that we knew the timing was finally right to leave behind the name Little Dipper Farms and become Ebenezer Farms.

The name Ebenezer comes from 1 Samuel 7:12, where Samuel set up a stone of remembrance and called it Ebenezer, which means “Stone of Help.” We chose the name because we recognize that we would not have this beautiful property—or the opportunity to build this life—without God’s help. Every blessing, every opportunity, and every step that brought us here has come through His guidance. It has always amazed us that the property God led us to is naturally covered with stone—a quiet reminder of the Stone of Help every time we walk our land. Ebenezer Farms serves as our daily reminder to remember God’s hand in our lives, to remain grateful for His blessings, and to never forget where our help comes from.

Today, we’re blessed to raise Nigerian Dwarf goats, Idaho Pasture Pigs, Babydoll Southdown sheep, and Dexter cattle. We are committed to raising healthy, well-socialized animals with excellent temperaments while helping other families experience the joy and fulfillment that farm life has brought to ours.

But Ebenezer Farms is about more than selling livestock. Our vision is to create a place where families can connect with agriculture, make lifelong memories, and experience the peace, beauty, and simple joys of country life. We hope to inspire a love for farming, encourage children to discover where their food comes from, and provide meaningful experiences that bring families closer together while creating traditions they’ll cherish for generations.
