Goat Sales Agreement & Health Acknowledgment

Health Guarantee & Sales Terms

1. Health at Time of Sale

The seller affirms that this goat is in good health to the best of the seller’s knowledge at the time of sale. The goat has been eating, drinking, and behaving normally while in the seller’s care. The buyer is encouraged to inspect the goat and ask any questions before completing the purchase.

2. Health Guarantee

If the buyer believes the goat is ill within 72 hours of pickup, the buyer must notify the seller immediately and provide documentation from a licensed veterinarian. No refunds or replacements will be considered without veterinary documentation. The seller is not responsible for illness or injury that occurs after the goat leaves the seller’s care due to transportation, stress, changes in environment, feed, weather, or management practices.

3. Biosecurity

To protect the health of all animals, Ebenezer Farms practices strict biosecurity. Once a goat leaves the farm, it cannot be returned to the property. Returned animals are not accepted under any circumstances.

4. Deposits & Reservations

A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a goat. The deposit is applied toward the purchase price. If the buyer cancels the purchase or fails to complete payment within the agreed time frame, the deposit is forfeited. Reservations are confirmed only after the required deposit has been received.

5. Final Payment & Pickup

The remaining balance must be paid before or at the time of pickup unless other arrangements have been made in writing. Goats must be picked up on the agreed-upon date. If pickup is delayed without prior approval, boarding fees may apply.
